Born on April 25 1945 he became a member of Dixieland band and dance orchestra where he played the banjo and guitar which became popular. He was a member of Hootenany singers before he met Benny. In 1966 Bjorn and Benny Began writing songs for themselves and other artists.

Benny was born on Dec 16, 1946. He began his music career with pop group Hep Stars. He began writing songs in 1966. He composed songs with Bjorn. released his first solo album in 12 years in 2001 called ("The Benny Anderson Orchestra"). then Followed by brief sucessfull tours. Both Benny and Bjorn worked Together on a musical called Chess.

Agnetha was born in Jonkoping, a small town in the middle of Sweden on April 5 1950. In 1965 she sang with a dance orchestra and continuyed this for 2 years. Agnetha took a tape into a record company and it resulted in her first record in 1968. It was her own composition called I Was So In Love and it became on the top best selling lists within a couple of weeks. In 1971 she played Mary Magdalene in a Swedish version of Jesus Christ Superstar and she recieved good reviews. In 1968 she met Bjorn and married him. In 1971 they began to work with Benny and Frida.

Anni-Frid Lyngstad was born in Narvik, north of Norway. When she was 2 years old her family moved to Sweden where she made her first appearance at the age of Ten. She had an orchestra of her own for several years and then had a big success on a popular TV program. She made several records that climbed to the top of the hit parades in Sweden.
